The 1000 yard benchrest shoot at the Tweedsmuir Park Rod & Gun Club in Burns Lake ,scheduled for May 30,31 2020 has been postponed. we will post a new date as soon as possible.
Play it safe stay home We will shoot another day

Regular IBS 1000 yard targets are used. 10 rounds + 1 sighter for unlimited, 5 rounds +1 sighter for Heavy barrel, 5 rounds +1 sighter for sporter rifle, 3 rounds +1sighter for hunting rifle. Also one shot at the 'egg' and at least 1 shot for offhand shot at a ~2'x2' target.

The IBS targets are used as a center on a 8' X 8' backer. the standing Gong is between targets #4 & #5 Approximately 3.5' X 4'. The egg gong is hanging to the right of target #5 approximately 7" X 10"
We measure or score any group that has all the required shots on target and backer .

The May 2020 shoot has been canceled for this year due to ongoing covid restrictions of large events and protocols. We will host it again on May 29th. & 30th. 2021 However we are going through with the smaller fun shoots this summer which typically have fewer participants The next scheduled fun shoots are July 12 2020 then the Bill Waldron memorial 1000 yard shoot August 9 2020. Feel free to PM me with any questions.

Hey Bushrat I have a few questions about the shoot on the 9th. How many shots is the match, how many shots per relay, howl ong are the relays, and can you shoot a blackpowder cartridge rifle eg. Sharps, rolling block? thanks
 
For those attending the Bill Waldron Memorial shoot August 9th. Please respect the space of others and keep in mind social distancing. There will be hand sanitizer available in the clubhouse and at the firing line. Also cleaning materials for the benches provided.
