I see I posted about this rifle back in 2005, but just going through some old photo files I found the pics again. Its left me thinking how much some stuff has changed in 20 years. I used to run a vertical grip on the UIT rail, and had to make that myself. To fit the 10X56mm IOR on the rail I needed KAC rings (couldn't find anything else that high anywhere). At the time IOR was considered hot ####, and as much as I loved that scopes glass, the internal coating flaked off and stuck to the lenses, and had to have one returned, which took ages. The protected cap turrets are something else that seems to have totally disappeared, along with IOR from much of the shooting scene.
This same rifle popped up here in the EE last year (IIRC), and the sling studs (which seemed to be the way tacticool was going to go back then) had been swapped out, and it didnt really surprise me.
Eventually I needed some money and sold it to one of our late precision shooting members from BC. That said, it remains one of the ones I regret selling.
What all were others running 20 years ago thats no longer seen around.
