Now after missing my M14s I got one of my Garands at the range today .

I experienced thumb garand twice today ,never happend after shooting over 3k rounds., it hurts and ripped my skin ,
Even my thumbs suffer from JT , twice a day .imaging Canadian Citizens.

Life is going forward and Canadians backward , I moved from M14 to Garand,

I can see thumb broken will happened to people who thumbs up for JT in near future.

We have not many battle rifle left to enjoy , now I have to modify one of my Garands to support mags, maybe I have the same feeling as M14.

Now I have to shoot as much as possible because if we can't get our right back soon we will lose semi auto battle rifles . I TOTALY LOST , I am just trying to collect memory as much as possible. I don't see good future for gun owners in next 2 years.

Remember to ensure that the bolt is not resting on the follower, or as soon as you insert the enbloc any distance into the action, the bolt edge slips off the follower and snap - Garand thumb!

I'm in the same boat - my Springfield M1A National Match is sitting in the safe, so it's the .308 Garand that is coming to the range.
