The target board consists of 5 score targets and 1 sighter target. The match consists of shooting 5 target boards in 5 shooting match rounds spaced at least 30 minutes apart.
Usually for the first target board there is a sight in round of 10 minutes, and subsequent target board rounds are 7 minutes.
You will need 25 rounds for the score targets and as many sighters and fowlers you think you need.
We assume that people coming to the match have sighted in their rifles, but if the last time you shot was at 200 yards, a test sighter will allow you to make the scope adjustment for 100 yards.
It also allows adjustment time when we shoot the 200 yard targets later in the day once all the 100 yard relays are complete.
The 200 yard targets are physically twice as big as the 100 yard targets so the targets look the same in your scope.
If you are on bench 5 in the first relay your target number will be 105-1 through 105-5.
If you are shooting in the second relay the target numbers would be 205-1 through 205-5.
It is the shooters responsibility to check their target number before each match round.
Only 1 shot per scoring target (1-5) is allowed. Multiple shots at the same scoring target will result in the lowest score being used. There is no limit to the number of rounds used on the sighter target.
Hitting the centre dot is 11 points and touching or inside a numbered ring counts for the ring score. A perfect score would be 5 x 11 = 55 times 5 targets is 275.
