Hey guys I saw a picture of a rifle on here that the exterior of the barrel looked almost like a piece of wrought iron twisted, looked pretty cool!

If I remember correctly the barrel was a copperish color? if anyone has pics that would be great, I just thought it looked awesome. is there any physical benefit to it or it just looks wicked?

I kinda like mine :)

haha yeah that thing looks crazy! wish I had the coin for that... unfortunately my M14 EBR build keeps adding up and up and uppp

LOL ! I wish I'd had the coin to buy it without having to sell a bunch of stuff to pay for it :)

I also wish I have never got into M14's - I would have saved friken thousands of dollars !!!!!!!!!

Really ?? Thanks for the tip Gunboy, I guess then maybe I should stop running wire coathangers down the inside to make them smooth then:D !!

No, no there is no need for that, what you do is put some crazy glue on the bullet, rolled in fine sand and loaded with several grain over the max charge recommended then shoot it.
If I am going to pay that much for a rifle, I would do the same, get a timberwolf or coyote!

you can get barrels from hart for most guns that look the same or even crazier.

OP ask a question and I answer. Physical benefit being you dont have to disturb your position to clean finger.:)

Of course there is Benefit beside just look, some would say just bling bling while other will say no benefit at all.
