I visited my turkey hunting spot (near Winchester Ontario) this am to see if I could hear any gobblers. I was there a bit late, but I heard two flocks (one to the east and one to the west) as soon I was out of the van.

I watched one flock for a while and snapped a few pictures. What a beautiful morning! I hope this flock is still around next week!!!

I had a decent sized Gobbler within shooting distance this morning. He was courting two hens and they passed in front of me @ 25 yards. There were 4 more gobbling their fool heads off no more than 100 yards away as well, never caught sight of them, but I am sure when I break out the call come Monday morning, there will be some action.:D
 
I started getting my gear together today.... Camoed the gun, all ready to go.... Cant wait. This is my first year out and we say about a dozen turkey within range last time we were scouting our property....
 
I was finally able to set up my Outhouse , just minutes before the storm rolled through.
Went out before sunrise this morning to have a listen for gobblers ( and make sure my blind is still there ). :rolleyes:
It wasn't raining but still pretty wet out , and at about 5:50am gobblers and hens were all sounding off .
1 more sleep !
