Two down one to go

hip hip hurrah! CK here is my lil brother...we both got 98% on the written and the practical PAL tests. we also have taken CORE, which we both passed with flying colors too! :D

hiya Cam, you writing your rpal too?

Congrats on passing to both of you. :dancingbanana:

Now comes the agonizing wait for approval. Bookmark the CFC page, if you're like me you'll be checking on a very regular basis.:D

Congrats guys...I took both PAL and RPAL on the same day and am at day 14 of the 28 day waiting period. Driving me nuts as I have 2 guns that are paid for collecting dust at 2 dealers waiting for that piece of plastic to arrive.

Ditto here.

One SKS.
One M14s.
One Browning HP.

I have a 50% efficiency rating at killing any thread I make or reply in so I'm not shocked

Congrats on the passes, soon your credit card bills will never look the same. But I must say, check some pages of old threads, I'm the thread Killer. Almost 400 posts, and at least 150 of those are the last of any given thread. Watch out for that rpal though, I've spent 50% more, on 50% fewer guns when it comes to restricted. Baffles the wife to no end, "why do you NEED that, you can't shoot it anywhere but the range?"

i got my pal and my rpal in mid march. only made one purchase so far seeing as im getting married in july.. told by the financee that if i purchase one instead of getting wedding stuff she is going to use it on me.... i took the hint.....

that's interesting pdubois64...when I send my files in, I'll start looking in 30 days to see what's said! we're not sending the paperwork in until we get our RPAL's, being it's cheaper. :)

It shows up as being processed after about a week. Then they call your references and it stays at "status 173" for a few days. Now it's back to "processing" again. From what I've heard most are getting issued on the 29th day as long as you don't have any "issues" involving ex-spouses etc. I am on day 17:runaway:
