Two questions for you....

Tikka, again the most important thing is practice... Internally, even if you don't want to do all the trigger work on the Sailor Curt video, I'd take the trigger apart and polish all the contact surfaces and rails with 600 grit sandpaper, and possibly replace the factory hammer spring with a Wolffe spring from SKSMan for a few bucks to lighten the trigger pull. You can get the hammer spring with the lighter recoil spring(the big spring under the receiver cover) for mini bucks, and you'll have a lighter trigger and less crashing around inside your SKS when you shoot. The final thing I'd do is install a recoil buffer, a small rubber piece that sits at the back of the receiver cover and absorbs the impact of the recoil spring when you shoot. Again, less stress on the moving parts and less vibration when you shoot, and they're just $10 from SKSMan. You'll also want to get a front sight adjustment tool thrown into your order from SKSMan, so you can fine tune your groups. So, the Wolffe (lighter-weight) recoil and hammer spring kit, the front sight adjuster, and the recoil buffer...and you're all set for small money!

now that is some good info for the simple fact im not trying to change the look of the rifle itself it looks sleek and mean all in its own :)

Besides getting TS-200 tech sights and the firesight front sight and butt pad/buffer, remove that bayonet and cleaning rod.
Also, a long clamp on muzzle break (with 2 holes in top) seems to reduce muzzle jump. You can get them off ebay.ca for 8+5 shipping.
