Two revolvers purchased from John Denner at his house in August 2006.

Two of my earlier purchases from John Denner.
I bought a couple of guns on installments in the early days.

================================================================================

John saved me about $1100 in the early 1980s. I saw a Hudson Bay trade musket and was very tempted. Knowing John from the shows I asked his opinion. He said, "No. The only original part on that gun is the lock. Do you want to buy an old musket or a new one?"

On March 12 1995 I purchased this saber bayonet to go with the Mississippi rifle.
According to my notes---I paid $450 in installments.
It is a nice piece.

I got the bayonet before I got the rifle.----?????

Very nice indeed. Payment in instalments…ah, the good old days!

Twenty eight years later (Feb 2023)----I had a very difficult time finding a saber bayonet for my New Model 1859 Sharps rifle.

The dealer in the U.S. would not accept installment payments!

Twenty-eight years made a difference.
No installments on the 2023 purchase in the U.S. (supposedly this bayonet was purchased by the dealer at at Civil War show in Gettysburg)
