Two used rifles just arrived

Very well cared for pair of rifles. They are both great pieces but personally I keep thinking that the 350 Rem needs to be in my gun case.

Compared to the extensive crop of "budget" rifles on the market today - Axis, American, 783, etc - the old Parker Hales is indeed a "higher-end" rifle.

Grip fits your hand nice. (raised palm )

Had a 1200c in '06 which printed under moa even when I let the barrel heat up.

I agree with that but imo 1k is a bit steep.

But Sidney I. Robinson sold those for $1299 ,(?) back in the late eighties.
How much was an sks back then?

Checkmate Sports on St Hubert street in Montreal had them in the late 80s.
There was a higher grade and a lower grade. The higher grade sold for $450.00 while the lower grade sold for $350.00

Nothing wrong with a Parke Hale from the 70s but calling them higher end............................Please.

Sold and sighted in plenty of them in my "Gunshop years", decent shooters with a sloppy Repro Mauser Action.

At the Kamloops Gun Show in 1995, SKS rifles were $99.00. Maybe even cheaper in 1988!......
