Two Valtro PM5 questions: 14" & folding, legal? Who imports these?

I've got this bug for a mag fed shotgun. I was wanting to know:

1. With the 14" barrel and the folding stock equipped... is it (i.e. the Valtro's OAL) still Canada safe?
2. Who could import one of these in the above configuration?

I don't think Valtro's are imported or made anymore.

I think Dlask customized Valtro's at one time. I saw one on the EE once - ported with a muzzle break - very cool!

The 14" Valtros were ported from the factory. The ports plugged up with repeated use. They were an OK gun (just OK), the action required a long stroke and the mag was awkward to change quickly and snagged on stuff in the bush. As soon as I got my hands on a Fabarm the Valtro was history. Still looks cool though. I remember the first time I stepped onto the skeet range with one and was told that 'police only' shotguns weren't allowed.

i think i saw a 18" valtro at Reliable
was pretty cool looking gun
ghost rings, detachable mag, pistol grip
but i went with a 870 instead

Believe the folder puts it under 26" OAL

With practice, changes are quick, and in any event faster than feeding a tube one at a time.

Thanks all... yeah, I saw the ones CanAm is supposed to be getting in, but it looks like it's going to be a long wait.

I was only interested if the folder was allowed on the 14" model too bad... I guess it's the long wait then
