Today at our range there were two brand new S&W Victory's.

Mine ran great - the other one worked like crap.

Both were torn down and looked exactly the same inside.

Everyone remarked how weird it was that mine ran with no issues.

Go figure...

More details pls on how it ran crap. Same ammo? Switched shooters as well? After putting it back together, tried shooting again?

I wonder if you switched barrels... if results would follow the barrel?

I'll hazard a guess here... the one that "worked like crap" had spent brass jam with the fresh round as the bolt tried to load it into the breach? If this is the case, I just went thru this with 2 Victory's. My son and I each bought one, thinking it would be a great, relatively cheap, introductory firearm since we are both brand new at this. The problem is the ejector. The extractor pulls the spent brass out, throws it against the ejector and then it flies out the port. You can attempt to bend the ejector yourself, it's that little piece that is spot welded to the receiver, or send it back for warranty. I opted to bend mine, only about a mm inward towards the bolt, and both are working flawlessly now.
