Type-56 SKS factory codes

I took a risk and bought a new in grease Type-56 sight unseen for a good price. To my suprise it's a not so common factory 0406.

Curious, what codes do you have? Anyone else have a 0406?

I've got a /0406\. And /26\, /016\, /306\, /625\ and [0138].

That's normal right?

The [0138] has a stamped receiver.... The /016\ is marked 公安 on the right side for China's Security Forces. Pics of both are in the Type 56 sticky.

But... There are no collectable Chinese SKS right? It's what I've heard.

Not yet, in Canada anyways. Taking into consideration there is no current supply, and the amount of people "modernizing" an already modern rifle with usless add-on crap and chopping off the bayonets. They will become collectable in a matter of time.

I'd say some versions are collectable right now.
