My Norinco Type 56SHTF AK47 build is almost finished, I'm waiting on a Micro T-1 and a sling.

It's lighter than my MK14s and only a bit heavier than my LE 6920. Also, it balances remarkably well.

That's very true - they have not been imported into the states for about 15 years.

Norinco M14s sell for about $800 and up here in the states.

I had a blonde Hungarian AKM back when you could put it in transport it to your local gravel pit in blanket on the back seat. Good friend of mine had a Norinco copy in 5.56.

Been a lot of legal water under the bridge since then.

Also, what make is the Rail system?
