hello I got a type 81 rifle with the folding stock, I watched a video from gnutzguy on youtube,go see he has some amazing video,so after I watch the video I wanted to change the stock on my type 81,i am tall and the folding stock is a bit to short for me,so I ordered the zukov ak-47 stock like in the video,but after I got the stock I realize the video was for a full stock type 81,my question is anybody ever remove the folding stock from a type 81 rifle and how did you do it would be very helpful thank you.

This guy shows you how you can remove the stock on a folder. how you get the other stock on he will know. i believe he is on this forum. in the type 81 thread

yes that the guy I was referring to in my post about being amazing but you see in his video the folding part of the original stock stay on the rifle, but the zukov stock come with the folding hardware on it, I will have another look, maybe I can try to merge both onto one

The only way you can remove the complete folder mechanism from the rifle is to grind the rear rivets off and pull it out the back. The catch being u will also be removing the rear trunnion (a critical part to the guns structure) cus they made it all as one part.
The vehicle equivalent to this task would be removing the entire rear end on a truck. Your messing with important parts and if u fail, the truck will not drive the way it did before.
