Hey look TI deleting people's posts yet again!! LOL.

Hope the new LMGs don't come bent boys and girls - now that the front sight post is at the tip of the barrel, I hope they come shooting straight.

Not flaming anyone, but I'm sore from the first time I got screwed.

Peace.

After the G36 thing came to light I have a hard time dealing with them. The price helped kill this for me. $1500 for just the rifle... I wouldn't pay anywhere near that for something made by Polytech.

I was in on the original pre order for the type 81s and wasn't too impressed with TIs lack of customer service, but as far as bent receivers went they seemed to take care of anyone whose gun was actually affected. I have since dealt with them for a bersa pistol and their service was greatly improved. I'm pretty jazzed to see they brought this in without hyping a pre-order, it was a shocker to wake up and see the email advertising it even if I wasn't planning to spend 1500 today

I have reason to believe it wouldnt have left the factory if it was bent enough that it couldnt be sighted in. All the Type 81 SA's came roughly sighted in as far as im aware. Mine had a very noticeable bend, the front sight was obviously crowded to one side to compensate for this. But at 50m out of the box it was pretty much perfect windage wise.

Your definitely in ur right to make it known to everyone that Ti is a shady a$$ company and like Donald Trump will lie their way out of any controversy.

what posts did they delete?

^ Appreciate the transparency Tiriaq.

The "hahaha" comment was deleted almost immediately. Other deletion references go some ways back, to the initial bent-threads last year; and more deletions over the G36 frankenrifle deal. I totally get that no company will ever have 100% satisfied customers; but I also feel that those who were not aware of the initial bent issue should be apprised of such history before opening their wallets, that's all.

As StansfieldMcElroy states, apparently customer service is much improved and perhaps everyone deserves a second chance.

Bottom line is caveat emptor.

This is a post about TI and the Type 81 rifles, nothing political at all. Why are you mentioning Trump? I think you should turn off your television - it's brainwashing you.

Oh nothing political here man, tending to think "Trump" will become regular vernacular in common parlance going foward.

Kinda like "hey man, don't Bundy that thing!"... if you were around for Married With Children lol.

Alas a digression.

I thought the whole "bent" thing was just people's own perception issues. Far as I was aware, there was no issues with functionality. The one I had was fine.

Be informed. Lots of threads on this and other interesting TI history on CGN I’d like to do my homework before handing over thousands but hey that’s just me.

For $1500 you can buy a high quality rifle of sub moa accuracy capably, that shoots good out past 1000 yards. $1500 for a 50 yard pop can shooter yikes!

Thats life... I know plenty of people who drop $40k on obsolete Chevelle's ... $100s on bottles full of fermented grape juice and $1000s on canvas that some weirdo smudged oily goo all over.

You can buy a rifle for half the cost that is capable of doing the same thing....
