Type 81 Question... Can Sell or Not

Not legally. Aside from an arbitrary paperwork diktat there is nothing stopping you. The government agents don't know you have it or where it is and wouldn't know if it changed hands.

You definitely cannot legally sell or use it. It was for sure on the Dec 2024 ban list. All variants.

Base rule for you: if it's semi auto, it's almost certainly banned. There's only a few left that aren't. And T81 was very much in Poly's sights.
 
Pretty sure lots of banned guns are still being bought and sold amongst ourselves
It just has to be done discretely with someone you trust and you can’t advertise or post for sale adds on the net or you could get some unwanted attention
 
There is nothing discreet about posting it in a public forum for discussion online.
I don't disagree with the information given by others because technically it's true. However, I would just be careful giving out this type of legal advice, because not everyone is an ally to our community or struggle on here.
