Got my fixed stock type 81 on Wednesday. Well packed. Feels good, nice machine work.
Everything functions. Took it shooting yesterday.

First shot. Nice
Second.......click.......eff me what I have I bought?!?

NEVERMIND gas system on grenade mode,
Fixed and fired away all my Ammo problem free!

Fun rifle!! Glad I bought one.

Handguard removal was a little sticky the first time.

Yeah I will attest to the sticky handguard the first few times, mine seems to be broken in now though. Internals all look good, no drunkard with a dremil syndrome going on. Over all I'm happy with my folder so far.

Do the blonde cheek rests have hardware ?

Is it still possible to secure it if you drilled the hole, but don’t have the clip you think ? I want to paint the blonde ones black until correct replacements arrive. Could you post pics of hardware included and rests when you have time.. thank you
 
Just curious, but does the folding stock mechanism allow for wear while staying rigid when open?

It seems most reviews say it's solid, but I'm wondering it will stay that way with time and use.
 
Have you checked to see if your folder is bent like the guy who posted in red rifle forum? Looks like a vehicle drove over his receiver and warped the whole rifle!?!
 
Do all the folders received have the mismatched color issue with the lighter color stock inserts?
Can the guys who have received their folders chime in about that?
Kind of hoping mine won't have that issue...

Yes unfortunately all will come with brown rests installed and an extra set of mismatched blond rests with missing hardware and no holes drilled for installation. TI stated free correct coloured ones will be provided some time in 2018 to owners of folders upon request at that time. :(
 
Such horrible service by the first vendor!

I am amazed more people haven't cancelled order's, and by reading the various threads this past hr many guy's have been banned over getting upset.. that seems pretty sad on the admin's part.. these people are who pay the vendors which in turn pay cgn to be on here.. sounds fishy to edit the actual customers opinions or to outright ban them for getting upset over completely horrible service
