Type 81 SE Folding - Any issues?

Any issues present with the Type 81 folders and the latest run with Tactical Imports? I understand there was a receiver issue prior. Just curious.

I ordered one from their last shipment, folder but the non optics ready. The safety lever was on the right side, wasn't a fan of that so traded with someone on here for a fixed stock version from same shipment. Safety lever was on the left side like the original models on that one.

Any bent rifles between the barrel and receiver?

I’m assuming that there might have been more care taken with the OR folders in regards to the barrel being straight with the receiver.

No issues with mine ~1000 rounds later. I hate the way the mags are pinned. The follower bottoms out sometimes and the rounds just slide out. Maybe there’s a way to fix it, I haven’t really been bothered enough by it to try and solve it but that’s my only real complaint

Safety on the right is the only complaint - prevents the stock from fully folding. Easy enough to swap if you find someone willing to trade.

no a problem for me but im left handed and optic mount works for me.

Received my folder tonight. Compared to my LMG, this feels much lighter (obviously) Every mag rocks and locks w/o a problem. I have a couple mags on the LMG that stick..very hard to remove them...Folder aspect is pretty cool...rifle feels good as its cheeked/ready position. Familiar platform...Drum locks in NP...Rifle came bone dry though...spent a couple hours tearing it apart and lubing it. I have the Optics Ready version..it shipped with the mount pins installed w/ rubber nipple covers. When using the rifle, do these threaded rods just stick out from the side?
