Type 81 skeleton stock

Today I removed the stock insert because I wanted to paint it black.
After removing the cleaning kit that is under it, I decided I will be leaving it bare like that, I'm digging the skeleton look a lot.

Thought I'd share in its own thread so it doesn't get burried in all the other ones that have become about the bent rifle issue.

Meh, doesn't feel much different, maybe a little colder. Not a big deal IMO.

Yeah I was thinking paracord also feels a lot better on the cheek.

I still kinda like the look of the dark inserts. Although black or nothing like yours might be better looking if I ever get my rifle and put my quadrail and black sling onto it.

I personally prefer it with the fiberglass/bakelite? panels. Still looks cool though, too each their own.

Regardless, it's a badass little rifle, love mine.
