Type 81 SR stain colour.

I modified my type 81 SR buttstock and would like to restain it so it matches the Forend wood. Anyone have an idea of which stain is the closest match? Thank you
 
Did you completely strip it or just partial sanding? They use some semi transparent or non-transparent stain that completely covers the grain.. not sure what exactly..

Most of the time those SR stocks have beautiful grain hiding under there. I would suggest to refinish it completely.
