Type 81 top rail

Has anyone bubbad a top rail on the gas tube cover to mount a red dot and if so did it hold zeroish lol

Have not seen anything ontop tho there is a youtube'r that has discussed options for the T81 outside of the PLA Red dot. These have come up around here and on #######. Have you considered one of those?

Gnutzguy has also done videos on various railed forends, most of which needed to be modified in order to fit.

Tactical Imports offered and maybe still does a railed forend that was advertised support optics and fit the Type 81sa without mods i believe.

They are also currently developing a side mount option that will require no mods to the gun.
