type 81drum mag retrofit

I got the new internals but I cant figure out how to remove the nut inside the drum to pull the old piece out, it looks like it has a pin threw it and welded in.Does anyone know how to get it off?I ground off the welds off but that did nothing. unless mabey they lock tited it in.Any help would be much appreciated
