I received a Type 97 gen 2 from Tenda this week, gun shoots very well, no jam, I love this gun.
Except for now, trigger reset gets stuck halfway most of the time. It's like something is too tight in there.

I tried to search on CGN to find maybe a thread about it but found nothing. Is there anything I could do?

Edit I poured a bit of MPro7 oil all over the rails and all moving parts that touch the trigger assembly, trigger bar and everything. Problem solved. I'll leave this post here, there was someone on youtube with the same problem that's why I thought it was gonna be a bigger problem.

My friends did the same on a gen 1. Sent it for warranty and they claim they did nothing but clean and lube it.. which had already been done.

After it came back it has some double shots and was sold as it.

Sorry I don't have the final resolution...

Take it all apart and clean it really good. It's a simple system, only springs pulling the trigger back is the lower hand guard and the trigger group itself.

@ShawnC6 Like I said I simply poured a bit of Mpro7 oil on all parts where there is friction and oiled literally everything trigger related.
Problem solved 100%

Now I wonder how long it was last though. Also, I've seen your video on youtube.

For now I'm impressed with this rifle. It's so simple and shooting it was awesome. Too bad I got caught by a severe thunderstorm and could only shoot 50 rounds.

Also I think they really like C-Products 30 round metal mags. I tried the cheap Norinco 30 round mag with the followers that won't stay straight and I had a jam.
But the C-Product seem to work very well. Are there any good LAR mags for the T97 gen2?

I tried using a CPD LAR-15 pistol mag in my T97 and it got stuck big time. The Magpul PMAG Gen 3 works fine. But I also would like to know if there are other LAR15 mags that will work. From what I've read, these guns are pretty picky with the mags they will take.

If the problem persists, consider pulling the trigger pack and make sure these pins haven't popped out
