Type 97 gen 2 vs Type 97 upgraded with type97.ca FTU and LHG

With gen1 prices going down quite a bit with the appearance of the gen 2, is it worth it to get an upgraded type97.ca upgrade pack with a gen 1 instead of a gen2?

If you get a gen 1 with serial number with 1400 ### or higher it won’t have any feeding / ramp issues, they were the last batch of gen 1s. I just upgraded mine with a left side charging handle, and left side mag release. Have had no issues with a low profile 3 moa Red Dot as far as height on my carry handle rail. I wanted to keep mine as close to a qbz95 as possible. Cheers

There is 15### gen 1.

And my 13### gen 1 has no feeding issues either.
