Type 97 NSR 5.56 to 6.8 SPC

I would love to use this new rifle of mine for deer hunting but feel the 5.56 is too light but would feel more confident in 6.8 SPC. Is it possible to rechamber and still use the LAR mags?
And who to do the work?

personally id have no issue at all shooting a deer with mine. i plan to use it for a bush gun for wilderness protection. I am not worried at all about it being an infective round for the task. I dont think anything would walk away from 10 rounds to the head.
