That looks like it's for the Type 95 not the Type 97, the cheekpiece might have some issues around the magwell.

It's for the Type95-1 which has different proportions. The biggest problem is I think their sights are not as tall, so nothing would fit at all. There's enough original Type 95s in circulation that they might make a version for that, which would fit our T97s just fine. THe longbow rail has a version for both models, for example.
