type 99

I got a type 99 spotter at a gun show about a year ago. its ugly and has acute down stock. it's late war with just the peep sight. it shoots high at 100yrds. I got a box of norma ammo and cracked the butt stock at the wrist after 8 rounds. loved shooting it

The late war type 99 were not known for quality. I’d expect the wood to be soft around the recoil lug it action loose in the stock. Bit that doesn’t fix the crack.
