Typhoon F12 Dual Gas System

Question to Typhoon F12 owners:

Just bought the gun. There is this Dual Gas System piston that supposedly lets the gun cycle light / medium and heavy loads. The manual says the gun comes from the factory set up for light / medium loads and I can see through the openings in the forend the piston with the words "light load" and an arrow pointing to the back towards the action. Am I right to assume that the "light load" arrow should point towards the front (muzzle) of the gun to be set up for light / medium loads? Or is it the other way around? The manual is very unclear about that, please help.

Tell me, on your Typhoon, is there a little loose play (~2mm) between the gas piston and the dual gas piston (the one with the load settings) when the gun is fully assembled? The correct position of the gas piston should be with the groove towards the receiver, right?

I am a little concerned about that loose play, the piston is rattling a little when I shake the gun forward and back. Unfortunately, I didn’t pay attention to that before I disassembled it. I know I put it back together right, according to the manual and YouTube video.

There will be a bit of play as that is where the gas escapes.
If you forget which way it should point think about how the piston works. There is less play between the 2 with the light load setting as it needs to use more gas from lower pressure rounds to cycle the action reliably. For heavy loads there will be more play between the 2 as the rifle needs to let more gas bleed out with the higher pressure loads to cycle the action without being unnecessarily hard on it.
Hopefully I worded that correctly.
Just make sure you have the nut on the end good. It's a bit easier to reach on the regular model vs the maxi.

There is about the same amount play on both load settings - light and heavy.
