Typhoon F12 Maxi - Have The Issues Been Fixed?

I'm looking to pick up a Typhoon F12 for recreational and 3gun and was wondering if the Maxi versions have been fixed of their issues.

Do yourself a favour and buy a Derya MK12.

The regular typhoons are supposed to be pretty good as well. I'd avoid the maxi.

I have a standard F12 and it has been excellent. Did better than the Derya Mk12s at the last Redneck 3 gun as they were getting fouled by dust because of the cutouts for the ambi handles. My Typhoon devours cheap challenger, Challenger handicap, Federal Top Gun, and SnB low recoil slugs. I love my typhoon!

My new Typhoon F12 is awesome. Runs everything through it. Many features are the same as the Derya but the typhoon has a much smoother mag release and an actual functioning bolt release. The optional large Magwell allows you to just throw the mags in. Based on a few of these small but important differences, I would definitely choose the Typhoon. Unfortunately this does not answer your specific question about the Maxi. Siwash Sports in Chilliwack B.C. has a very good selection in stock.

The issue with the maxie version is the handguard it's a ltitle to undersized on some guns .
It's the same gun other then the handguard. As the other f12.
We have sold 100s Orc them the only issue we have had is the early maXie.
Whixh has been addressed
The f12 is smother gun then the deryer mk12.

Ya once I oiled up and cycled my F12 Maxi a few dozen times it ran flawlessly. My buddy got the Derya F12 and it worked well too. A close comparison and shooting both back to back would have me favour the Typhoon again ... imho.
