Typical time to receive registration slip after a transfer?

Picked my Glock up just over 2 weeks ago and still haven't received the official paperwork for it yet.

Is this typical for Ontario?

Yes it is typical. Transferring a Glock from my father to me and still waiting....waiting, and still waiting.

I think it takes about three weeks or longer.

If the transfer is done by retail it is faster.

Just got my slip a couple of days ago. Now waiting on 4 others lol.

Received mine on Friday. If I remember correctly, we got our firearms at about the same time!

I think it might be the same for the ATT. The club told me it takes four weeks to get it.

I guess there's going to be no change to this time when the LGR is abolished? Or perhaps we can look forward to faster processing times due to reduced workload at the CFO's office?

i purchased a mossberg tactical on a monday, and had the slip that friday..less than one week!!!! i firmly believe it depends on whom processes the paperwork

Non-restricted is always much faster than restricted, at least that's been the case for me.

I had my LTATT issued within 2 days (Nova Scotia). Buyer notification of transfer, within same time frames or 4 separate purchases. Official registrations? Haven't seen one yet and its been well over a month since the first transfer approval from CFO.

Not that it matters, so long as you have permit and new reg #'s, you're good to go. Just ensure to abide by any restrictions on your permit.
