I recently purchased a book "U.S. Infantry Weapons in Combat"...the author has complied approx 65 interviews with U.S Veterans of both WW2 and the Korean War.
Each veterans writes of his experiences in combat with such weapons as the M1 Garand, M1,M2 carbine, Thompson smg, M3 "Grease gun"...45 auto pistol...Browning Auto Rifle..the 30 cal MG..both water and air cooled..hand grenades..2.36 and 3.5 in rocket launcher.
