Anyone here have experience dealing with Bailey's Outdoor Store (U.S.) ? They advertise as a "non-resident importer", and offer what seem to be pretty good "delivered to your door" prices, including shipping, duties, and GST on some Leupold products...examples: VXIII 2.5-8x36 @ about $435, VXII 3-9x40 @ just over $300.

. Bobby Willey is really good to deal with, the fact that they are an authorized importer to Canada maeans that there will be no COD charges at the post office when it comes. His shipping price is a little more but that's all you pay, and his Leupold scopes are the cheapest I've ever found. He can get just about any luepold scope you want even if it's not advertised, just send him an email. When I talked to him on the phone he said he had a lot of Canadian repeat customers. If you buy in multiples he will give you a deal on shipping.

Yup, bought a VX-II 3-9x and a VX-II 6-18x with LR reticle. Awesome prices, quick shipping, nicely packed, never a problem. I also highly recommend this retailer.
I know a lot of things cost a bit more up here due to the laws of economics, but I don't have $200 to throw away just to feel good about buying Canadian. There may be even cheaper options out there, but I think this is as good as it's gonna get without having to fill out paperwork.

There is always someone posting looking for fair Leupold pricing in Canada, or about importing them. It seems Bailey's Outdoors Sports solves both problems legally for Canadian shooters.
If the site, or reference to it were stickied, then when these questions arise again, the sticky could be referenced and the interested person could check it out and decide for himself.
