U.S. Model 1841 --Mississippi Rifle and original Model 1816 Flintlock Musket.

I did not want a Model 1816 musket that had been converted from flintlock to percussion ---then back to flintlock.

I did some homework with my expert in the U.S. before I jumped in.

I still deer hunt with my 1853 dated Mississippi Rifle. I had an earlier one 1847 dated. They would have seen lots of combat long ago, and are still very good muzzleloading rifles. Very popular.
