Uberti Callahan .44 Magnum?

Anyone handled or fired one of these modified peacemaker clones in .44 mag? Just saw one on the shooterschoice website and it's nice lookin. Just curious about durability with full house magnum loads?

From what I've heard she'll stand-up well to 44 Special loads but full house 44mag loads will rattle it apart/stretch the frame.

I personally love the look of the Target Callahan model but if a steady diet of full power 44 Mag loads are in your future, grab a Ruger.

I can tell you first hand; It's an awesome gun.

Best value in a .44 Magnum handgun.

Well for the money, it's almost a no-brainer

Like the look of the Uberti, but the Ruger wins out on everything else.

I have owned three Uberti 1873 Cattleman 45 Colt revolvers had nothing but issues with them even had one jam up solid on me during a Cowboy Action competition.

So I sold all three and bought 2 s/s Ruger Bisley Vaquero's in 45 Colt.

I have never regreted getting rid of the Uberti's and will never get/own another.
