Uberti Gabriel Dumont Commemorative Rifle

Couldn't find anything really when I searched these. Does anyone know much about these? Apparently they were to be limited to 1,000 rifles. I have been compiling a list and the highest I could find so far was #250

I think he was making a word play on Winchester but as the gun was made by Uberti it didn't really make a lot of sense.

Every commemorative I've ever seen was made by Winchester.

I have seen two of them at cowboy shoots, (both owned by the same person) one was as pictured above the other is heavily engraved and appeared to be done as such at the factory.

Hey CMichaud, I am aware of number 273 and all the research I have done indicates this was the highest number actually produced. I own number 153, and contacted the parent company but did not receive much help. It is common for any commemorative to have fewer produced than advertised, as they only use the better barrels on these type of numbered rifles.

Keep in mind, these rifles are increasing in value rapidly, so if you still have yours then keep it safe.
