Uberti Silver Boy Problems.

I purchased a used Uberti Silver Boy 22 that worked OK then it stopped.

It wont load from mag.
Wont extract shells.
Wont fire a round (no strikes on the 22 rim).

Is there anyone who can take it apart and figure out whats wrong with it in the Moncton or NB are?

I had a lot of similar problems with my Silverboy. I ended up with a broken lever due to the failure to extract. It was under warranty and was sent to Stoegers Canada with explicit instructions as to the problems I was having. They replaced the lever but did not address the original complaint (failure to extract) and upon firing the rifle the same issue appeared immediately. It was sent back to Stoegers for a second time with a curse message from my gun store-repair it satisfactorily or replace with a new rifle or they will no longer handle Urberti products.
It performed quite well after the second repair, but periodically still has the same issue.
Unfortunately, Silverboys are not that common and a lot of gunsmiths will not service them due to the availability of parts.
I wish you luck, as they are a beautiful rifle when functioning properly.
