Ugartecha shotguns

Does anyone still import Ugartecha shotguns to Canada?
Straight stock, 28" barrels, swamped rib, double triggers, 20 or 28g SXS light weight.

here is a pic of my buddy's Ugartechea next to my Fausti.

I ordered a 110 the same as this one only with case hardened receiver and hand detachable locks, and double triggers.
However, Will has 20 and 28's in stock.
he was at our gun show a few weeks back and i almost went home with a Uggie under my arm, but want the hand detachable lock!
The wood , BTW, does not show nearly as nice in the pic as it does in real life!
Are you looking for a box lock or a side lock?
The box locks are a tad lighter, but the one pictured still only weighs about 5.4 lbs.!
My Fausti is 5lbs. flat

The Uguiss shown are far superior than the domestic bottom grade guns imported in the 1980's and 90's that sold for $230 back then for an 28 ga upland special. Most people don't know the quality guns are made by Ugatcha, AYA, Grulla that will set you back a few months wages, too bad every one underates these fine gunmakers, I am saving up for a 2 barrel set(28/410) side lock in makers case, I think I might just order an Uggie!! take care Dale

Looking for a boxlock. I just seem to prefer them.
I did not know they would be priced above the Fausti and Franchi guns.

Thanks Cat
The box locks I have seen are very nice, but I want one with hand detachable locks.
The box locks are VERY reasonably priced BTW.
FWIW, the Ugartechea , to my mind is actually a BETTER deal than the Fausti, even though the Fausti is mine!
I got box lock, the generic hard case, ans screw in chokes ,
The difference with the same pricing is the uggie pictured has fixed chokes, and no case, with side locks, which are lot more work.
I can do without screw ins, and the case is not a big deal.
However, that being said, the Fausti is going nowhere!:D

Ugartecheas are very good value. I went through their operation in Eibar a few years ago and was impressed. Like AyA they manufacture a full line from boxlocks right up to ultra high-grade sidelocks.
