Does anyone have any experience with Ugartechea Shotguns? Quality comparisons? How about availability in Canada?

Talk to Will Bilozar in Alberta!

He's your man ... Carry's the line for Canada, is knowledgable and great guy to deal with.

Lucky

If you were to order a new shotgun, and pay extra costs for special stock dimensions, and the gun arrived with a LOP 3cm too long, and 6mm too much drop at comb, what would you expect the dealer to do? My friend expected the dealer to take the gun back, and supply one with the correct stock, or refund his money, but that isn't at all what happened. By the way, I compared the dimensions on the order form with those the actual gun, and verified that those were the actual differences, and I was present when the gun was ordered as well, so there is no hearsay involved.

I have two. A 20 ga. boxlock ejector, English-style, and a 12 ga. sidelock also English style. I think the 12 weighs less than the 20. Beautiful guns.

Mine would be similar to the 40 EX, and perhaps the 119 sidelock.

How's the wood on these guns? I have major hesitation to order over the phone without handling and knowing if the wood is consistent. I've seen so much variation in the quality of wood in some of the "price point" brands.

In my opinion the firearms are awesome...great looking and great quility.I know one guy on here, who has lots of shotguning experience and he likes the/his ugartechea shotgun....

Im in the same boat as you right now, thinking of getting a ugartechea.I have & like firearms with nice looking wood, however im not expecting this from ugartechea.more often than not they put some plain looking wood on there $3000-$4000 shotguns.I have seen a few guys get some exceptional wood, however for the most part its been rather plain lumber. However I guess the wood on there guns is some.kind of spanish walnut or something like that you can only get out there, which is cool.

What model are you looking at buying? If I got one it would be a 75,257,or 357....
