Just curious if its the last one that strays off? Or is it random? If its the last. I would say space the time between your shots a little more. Let the barrel cool a bit more.

If its only the one random of 5, then i would get the microscope on your loading technique - as mentioned runout, then myself I would make sure all brass is prepare the exact same (length, neck tension), bullets aren't deformed and weigh the same, and lastly powder dose to the 1/10gr or more if you're capable of.. I have done as mentioned and it does tighten things up - PITA, but the rewards are seen.
BTW, nice shooting! Despite the one flyer, still awesome!

You're suppose to tewt before or after you pull the trigger, nawt during.

Most here would be plum proud bragging groups like these targets.
Dang, where's me Tikka?

You're POI looks like it drifts around as well, I'd say it's probably the way you setup.

Make sure you load the bipod the with the same pressure and try to keep the same consistent feel to the sand bag in the rear.. Everytime!!

I notice once in a while when I squeeze my rear bag to come down I will get a different bounce and get a flyer. Probably because of more pressure on one side or the other of the stock, perhaps my cheek weld changes slightly. I now adjust my bag so that I'm not squeezing it and have gotten that much more consistent.

Just my 2 cents

Some people were telling me I should start reloading now to try and get more consistent.
Been shooting only factory ammo Sierra matchking 168 .308
I honestly think I am the problem here.
I think I need to relax more and think the shot through when I am behind the rifle

Yup.... Must be the scope.

Good shooting. Looks like that entry level rifle is performing damn well. Keeping in mind some of the most expensive guns out there only guarantee .5MOA, which that rifle is very easily capable of.

Good work.

I really enjoying precision shooting.
I built the rifle cheaply to just try it out. Now that I really like it I am going to commit myself and spend more money lol

Maybe upgrade the stock next

from my experience, with my set-up.

If I lift my face off the rifle then put it back down, my poi will move slightly. I think its because with my scope I can't completely eliminate my parallax.

I'm not saying for sure that's what is happening to you, just something to think about...

From the POI shifts, it leads me to believe that the problem is the in inconsistently mounting the rifle...

If you do get into hand loading, experiment with partial resizing. It can be tricky to get the formula for you and your rifle correct, but when you do, man, you'll have some tack driver rounds! If your barrel isn't free floated already, which it probably is, do so, and also consider glass bedding the action, and a nice trigger will have you smiling. Good shooting!!!
