We all know California gun laws are even more mind-numbingly stupid than Canadian...probably due to one of the highest population densities of head-up-their-arse left-wing, tree-hugging, latte-quaffing liberals on the planet!

However, I've got to ask....what's up with all the internet pictures of Asian men with AR-15s and other "black" rifles painted pink in "Hello Kitty" camo?

the US import laws on firearms are just as bad as California's.

AR-15 legal, Hk-416 illegal. You can't import a foreign made pistol grip rifle, but you can own one if it was made in the US. (HK-MR556)
