Ukraine's New Anti-Drone Shotgun: Tested

There be numerous Russian made KS-23 4 guage shotguns in Ukraine that do a decent job on smaller drones with the right loads in the hands of skilled shooters.

IIRC the KS-23 isn't all that impressive considering its bore size, with most of its offerings being equivalent to 12 gauge, or at best 10 gauge when talking about civilian spec hunting loads.

True fer sure. The folks over there would be better served with a new variant of minigun in 4 or 2 bore that could be mounted in vehicles or on anti aircraft ground mounts to put serious steel or lead into the sky. Drone swarms are getting bigger everyday.

- This video of "testing" is stupid. Situation with Turkish shotguns is that there are always several manufacturers trying to hop on the successful "make and model" and importers pick the cheapest one. So same "make and model" in Ukraine could be from original manufacturer or quality manufacturer and the one in USA and Canada could be from the cheap one. Of course Beretta and Benelli would be better, but "three functioning box mag semi are always better than one top notch tube mag shotgun". Nobody keeps trash at frontline.
- There are different types of drones and shotguns effectiveness varies on them. But shooting down low hovering reco drone is probably more important than hard to hit FPV drone.
- Shotguns are for girls, this Russian invader proves one can fight the drone off with a knife - https:// twitter.com/albafella1/status/1793196359698259984
