im glad im not the only one concept2w, ive personally sent 7.62x39 through a 1/4 inch of solid steel plate (went through like a drill). was it confirmed that it was indeed a bullet that hit that sight? i guess im skeptical because most of the sights and scopes ive ever owned have been 300$ or less (and i know a bullet would destroy them)...maybe the ACOG is indestructible?

He can still see the bullet lodged in his scope, which was given to him by his father, John Bowers, two days before leaving to Iraq.

I don't know about indestructible, but the acog is definitely built like a tank. You could probably use one as a hammer and have it be fine afterwards. I'm in love with mine.

good quality stuff then, the price is a bit prohibitive for the average plinker AR so i dont think i will be buying one for the hammer test
