Ultimate muzzleloader

I am looking for any input on the Ultimate muzzleloader. Am interested in buying one but would like some feedback before I spend the money.
 
I've had great luck with all the cva's I have. I bought a traditions buckstalker that I love. I recently shot a tc bone collector and hated it. It depends on what you want. Inlines are more reliable. Break barrels are easy to clean. Fit and finish are important to. I have a old hammer gun. Rolling block. Bolt and break action designs. Love them all
 
My ultimate muzzle loader may be different from yours.
Some get into muzzle loading for the nostalgia and tradition. An original, replica flint or cap lock would suit them.
Some get into it so as to capitalize on hunting seasons and areas, for them an in line or break action is where its at.
For others its versatility, any shot/ball/bullet combo with various powder charges.

For me its heritage,and versatility along with a hands on feel of satisfaction you get from building your own. Nothing makes you more proud than taking home game that you bagged with equipment you made yourself.

I appreciate the comments, however I was wondering if anyone could tell me their experience with an "Ultimate muzzleloader" made by ultimate firearms in the U.S.
 
A $3000 muzzeloader that uses 4x pyro pellets to meet the performance of a $600 Savage smokeless with 47 grain of VN. Mostly for posturing and bragging rights.

Canadian provinces don't partition or confine muzzleloaders the same way the States do. You will be hard pressed to find an advocate on this forum for those. Sorry
 
If you aren't in a hurry, look around for a gonic. I had one years ago, and I wish I never sold it. It also depends on the $ you want to spend. I like the cva's i've owned. If I had the $ I would choose a thompson. Just my 2 cents!
