So picked up this rare Gem recently I'm considering selling it here if the price is right. I would like to know from serious knowledgeable collectors not trolls what they would estimate the current value is.

Here is a little background and some pics, condition is excellent.

Very nice collectible firearm in the rest of the world. If you really want to sell it you should look into exporting it to Europe or America.
here in Canada its a prohib. you would be lucky to find someone who would give you a quarter what its worth.

How long is the barrel, 9 corto makes it a 380. If she is outside of the phrohib range you might get lucky as u did not stipulate 12/6. There is actually a few kicking around in the 7.65 SKY marked, those are cheaper like Gaff indicated.

I would check for original barrel if longer than 105

It is still a prohib, barrel length on these is 94mm

Personally I’d pay more than the going rate because I really want one but the market is sadly quite small in this country.
Could go anywhere $200-$500 and might sit for awhile on the high end. Feel free to pm me if you decide to sell.

Not a clue what your talking about. Check the links I originally posted

So basically you have a preconceived notion of what it is worth and don't like being told otherwise, rather only looking for validation of your own notion.

Looking online at the US prices they seem to range in the 1k-5k range, however you can't sell it there so those prices don't matter (the reason those prices are so high is the fact they can't import them into the US, basically with a few in country and many more collectors of those firearms than that). With the 12.6 class being the way it is your only going to be able to sell it to a few people, and to get top dollar you need to find someone in that class looking just for a Finnish used one who really desires one (otherwise they wouldn't pay top dollar).

Its like how my house is only worth 160k where I live but if it was in Toronto it would be at least a million. Would be nice to sell it for that amount but the reality is it isn't in Toronto and it can't get there.

Re-barrel it to 30 Reid with restricted length barrel. 30 Reid is basically 32 acp, but with 30 cal bullet. When its restricted, Then you can try to sell it for 1200$.

A good strategy for most 12.6, but IMHO rebarreling will destroy what value it has to collectors. It would fetch little more than any rebarreled 1934.

I agree with you 100% on collectability loss if rebarreled, however most collectors that have 12.6 already have similar pistol, or if they want one they won't pay close to a grand to have it. New collectors that just start out will be interested in this example even if it was 3 times more expensive and was rebarreled to restricted. They would consider it as they have chance to buy it. If it stays prohib, new collectors don't have opportunity to buy it, besides in its prohib state it has more chances to get to the smelter then not. Which is another reason to get it rebarreled.
