Are there any established wildcats based off of the ultramag cases? I was thinking along the lines of a .416 ultra or a .458 ultra or even maybe a .35? Anything smaller than .30 would be pretty painfully overbore (257 ultramag anyone???). I suspect a 458 wouldn't be too far off of a .460 weatherby?

I'm slowly building a 416Ultra.
So close to the 416Wby it is ridiculous.
400 grains at 2600fps and 350 grains at 2900fps is what most guys are getting.

The predecessor to the 458Ultra was the 458G&A and the 450 Vincent long.

They are all bad asses....Seriously bad!

I'm having a 358 built I know Redding makes dies for a 9.3 Ultra Mag and Quality Cartridge makes brass for a 458. The 416 is something I would like someday. I sure the case has been necked up and down from the get go.

There's the 6.5/300 Ultramag of course.

I'm not sure if it's even still considered wildcat since there seems to be the same cartridge out there with 2 or 3 different names.

The 9.3 ultramag sounds quite cool, and I was personally interested in that, but a closer look showed me that it would be pretty much indistinguishable from a factory .375 RUM in performance, and I already have one of those...
