I had tried some of the smaller ultrasonic cleaners that are being flogged by reloading manufactures and was never happy with them. So I figured why not go big. I had been looking for a couple of months on the used market as I didn't want to spend $2500 plus for a new one. I got lucky and picked this Branson 8800 up on Kijiji for $725 locally.
I can do a complete Dillon 1050 in two loads - One for the parts and tool head the other for the bottom end.
I have been cleaning my 3 1050's over the past two days and really happy with it. My two really dirty ones I had bought from someone who never tore them down to clean them. They where very dirty / greasy / wax based case lube and walnut shell everywhere.
Now they are ready to go for another couple years of abuse before their next complete teardown.
