I'm looking for some good places to shop for an ultrasonic cleaner.

I find there a waist of time and since its water based you better insure you lube it well. Also any detent or spring must be properly dried out after too.

Although water based the chemical they use actually helps to inhibit rust. Also they suggest using their lube bath after words.

lube bath works if you remove the detents so the lube can displace the trapped water. I tried it on a C8 & a SIG and it was a PITA, plus you need to remove the optics and plastics. That unless you want a lubed up grips and scope

Best is still elbow grease I guess.

Also think of your gun as a cast iron frying pan You would never wash a cast iron you only wipe it down and lube with bacon. This keeps the oil in the pores and your gun happy

Also by the time you place it in the ultra sonic, pull it out, clean it, dry it, lube it, wipe the lube off. Then you could cleaned it by hand in half the time.
