I have an action that is surplus to requirements, and will be up on the EE soon. I figured I'd drop it in the old ultrasonic bath before it goes to a new home. I have the steel cleaning solution, just wondering if there is anything I need to watch for. After the bath, all the bits will go over a heating vent to dry, and then get a coat of oil. Can the trigger pins, bolt release lever and spring also go in? What about the bolt? Does it require a special grease inside for the firing spring? I only have generic multipurpose grease.
Thanks in advance.

My only experience cleaning an action was my CVA V2 Optima. It removed the finish where the action rested against the tank. Oops. Just something to potentially be aware of, perhaps I wasn't using the right solution.

You should pull the firing pin out of the bolt and the ejector so the spring don't rust up.

Hmmm... that's getting a little too fiddly for me, don't have the right sized punch.

Not concerned about losing finish, its just bead-blasted, so no worries there.

I really haven't used mine to clean anything other than brass, but surely guys that dunk whole pistol slides don't detail strip them? I can't see it being of much convenience of you had to remove every last component but I'm not well versed in it.
