CanadaAmmo got me again!

I bought an NP27 with two mags and 500 rounds of .45 ACP shipped to my door for under $400. At that price I thought I couldn't go wrong but the truth is, I really don't know what it is. Apparently the NP27 is not a 1911 clone as that's a different model that coincidentally is not on sale.

Does anyone know what the differences are? I tried a search but there doesn't seem to be a lot of info out there. From what I can tell, the NP27 has a shorter barrel, and there's something different about the mags or frame length as they look different. Like the NP27 has a shorter frame or something like that.

Anyone know what the NP27 actually is?

The NP27 is a commander length 1911. Shorter slide, barrel and dust cover. The mags that come with it should be standard 1911 8 round mags. Any 1911 mags should fit as well.
